If you walk around the College, you will see a long history of philanthropy at work at Marlborough College. Donors can make gifts to areas that are important to them and have their name, or the name of loved ones, put in a designated space.
For example, The Henry Hony Centre, which includes the Ellis Theatre, is named after an OM benefactor and offers a first-rate set off facilities for the promotion of the performing arts.
We would welcome the opportunity to work with you if this was an area of interest.
Reggie Wills (B1 1935 – 39), pictured right, lived a full and exciting life. He served his country during a number of conflicts but never forgot Marlborough College, keeping in contact throughout his life.
Sadly Reggie died in 2009 but he left a substantial legacy which the College is planning to use to develop new boarding facilities, in order to improve the balance between boys and girls within the pupil community. As requested by his family, we are looking at suitable naming opportunities so that the family name will live on.
